History
Royal Order of Braganza is dedicated to preserving the ancient genealogies that trace back to the sacred Israelite kings, maintaining a sovereign bloodline. This lineage includes notable historical figures such as Charlemagne, Charles Martel, and Hugh Capet, whose ancestry extends to the Portuguese kings.
His Imperial and Royal Majesty Eliyauh First of Benjamin & David, the Patriarch Abraham Hereditary, holds the titles of Ius Majesty, Ius Imperii, Imperii, and Fons Honorum (de Jure) of the Royal Order of Braganza. He is the Sovereign Supreme over all descendants of royalty from Terah (King, High Priest, Emperor of the Sumerian Empire) and Abraham, and all Kings of the Kingdom of Israel and the Kingdom of Judah. Many of the most important kings and emperors of Europe carry this noble blood in their veins.
The Makir Dynasty, also known as the Exilarchs, originated from the Babylonian Jewish community of Pumbedita, with the title “Makir” often linked to Jewish leaders believed to be descendants of King David. Theodoric, a significant descendant, established a dynasty that profoundly influenced European history. Charlemagne (Charles the Great), a descendant of Theodoric, was crowned Emperor of the Romans in 800 AD, marking the revival of the Western Roman Empire.
Charles Martel, another descendant, was a Frankish statesman and military leader who halted the Umayyad Caliphate’s advance into Western Europe at the Battle of Tours in 732 AD, a pivotal moment in European history. Hugh Capet, the founder of the Capetian dynasty, ascended the throne of France in 987 AD, establishing a lineage that ruled France for centuries. Even all the kings of the Kingdom and emperors of Portugal was descendents of Makir(Theodoric) and William of Orange
The royal lineages of Portugal descendeth from these ancient bloodlines and noble origins, having contributed to the national independence, formation, and affirmation of the national identity, defense of sovereignty and independence, as during the great crisis of 1383-85 and later in the age of discoveries and Empire. From the most remote origin with Count Dom Henry, sire of the founder King Dom Afonso Henriques, Dona Isabel of Aragon, Queen of Portugal, wife of King Dom Dinis who went down in history as Queen Saint Isabel or like Dom John I, who secured the independence of Portugal from Castile, and also Dom John II, who did organize the enterprise that culminated in the sea-bound voyage of Vasco da Gama to India, marking the history of the globe and revealing to the world the genius of the Portuguese nation.
The Royal Order of Braganza is dedicated to preserving with utmost care these genealogical records and historical artifacts, ensuring that the rich legacy of the Dynasty of Makir and their significant contributions to world history are recognized and remembered. Through our efforts, we do intend to educate future generations on the importance of these historical figures and their enduring impact upon our present and future.
